Casting Workshops

Our casting workshops are in person group workshops where actors will perform in front of Casting Directors under mock audition conditions. Prior to the workshop, the Casting Director will send out a selection of scenes for actors to prepare in advance. Actors will be able to choose a scene that suits them best regardless of gender, age and ethnicity. It’s recommended that actors are as familiar with the text as possible.

Following a brief introduction, participants will perform their scenes under mock audition conditions and they’ll receive feedback from the Casting Director, in a safe and encouraging environment, before going again for a second take.

There will be a short break for coffee/lunch. Once all actors have performed their scenes, and time permitting, the Casting Director will hold an informal Q&A.

*Please note, these workshops adhere to CDG guidelines and are not an audition. Actors understand that the presence of a Casting Director is absolutely not a guarantee or promise of employment, and further understand that the intent of the workshop is solely educational and not a form of job interview or audition.
